Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be fit or have experience to start?

Not at all! Our fundamentals classes are designed for complete beginners. BJJ is a fantastic way to get in shape, and you can progress at your own pace in a supportive environment.

What should I wear for my first free class?

Comfortable sportswear like a t-shirt and shorts or leggings is perfect to start. We train barefoot on the mats, so please bring flip-flops to wear when you're off the mat. Also, don't forget a water bottle!

Is my first week really free?

Yes, absolutely. We want you to experience our classes and community with no strings attached. You can try any and all of our sessions for a full week to see if Falkie BJJ is the right fit for you.
